The Tobi & Abraham Pelman Mikvah of Hillcrest was established in 2001 to serve the Greater Queens and Nassau County communities. We currently serve over 900 women per month.
Our goal was, and still is, to provide a state-of-the-art facility while adhering to the highest level of modesty and concern for the needs of women performing this most sacred mitzvah. The safety and security of the women who attend our Mikvah is paramount. We spare no expense to ensure that women will have a positive experience.
Our Mikvah includes 8 preparation rooms, 2 Mikvaot, a special preparation room for brides and a large beauty bar. You can see for yourself in our Gallery.
We hope that you and your family are well, and safe.
We are doing our utmost to keep the Mikvah open through the pandemic, and have instituted the following:
We are open by appointment only – 7 nights per week.
You can dip if you have not recently returned from anywhere requiring quarantine, you have no symptoms, and have not been in contact with anyone who has, or may have the virus. This must still be true when you arrive at the Mikvah for your appointment.
You must prepare and check yourself at home. You won’t even be showering at the Mikvah.
Please bring your own towel and/or robe.
The fee is $20. We are not giving change. Please either bring exact cash, or a check that you have written out at home – payable to JCC of Hillcrest.
You must be wearing a face-covering when you walk in the door, as well as when you leave.
Please send a text or WhatsApp message to 347 256-5412 and we will be happy to set up an appointment for you.
